David S. Ryan, age 65, of Jackson, MI, formerly of Adrian, MI, passed away, February 28, 2019, at home with his family and loved ones. He was born November 30, 1953, in Ann Arbor, MI, the son of Edward & Teresa (Armstrong) Ryan. On August 5, 1982, he married Rosa Cruz, she survives.

In addition to his wife Rosa Ryan, he is survived by his children, Jesse R. Cruz, Travis J. Ryan, Gina L. Ryan-Jay and Chelsea R. (Eric) Riggins, David’s pride and joy were his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Cody, Destin, Davian, DeLaina, Jaden, Reina, Khalia, EmaLynn, Eric Jr., MayLeigh and Armoni, his father, Edward Ryan, his siblings, Valerie (Jeff) Martin, Kim (Mike) Scheuerman and Angie (Chris) VanEtten, brother in law, Henry Santiago and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Ryan and sister, Victoria “Vicki” Santiago. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI. A luncheon will follow at the funeral home. www.
