OBITUARY David Stetson May Sr. March 18, 1930 – December 24, 2018 Play Tribute Movie David Stetson May Sr., 88, passed away, Monday December 24, 2018. Born in Troy, Ohio to the late Margaret and Paul May. Prior to moving to Fort Wayne in 1972 he was a resident of Kirkwood, Missouri.

He attended Kemper Military Academy for one year and graduated from Kirkwood High School. He then graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, majoring in business. David served in the Missouri Air National Guard from 1951-1953.

After many years traveling as a surgical instruments sales representative for Weck Co. and later Linvatec, he retired. He was retired only for a short time, working 20 more years at Meijer as a greeter before retiring for a second time. He enjoyed talking to people.

David completed several 26 mile marathons, participated in a variety of sports, and was a Notre Dame Football fan. He also liked spending time at the lakes, but most of all, he enjoyed his children and grandson. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Norma May, son, David S. May Jr., grandson Christopher M. Evans, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Laura (May) Evans, and sister, Marilyn Stobbs, Funeral service will be 1 pm Saturday December 29, 2018 at D.O. McComb and Sons- Maplewood Park 4017 Maplecrest Rd. with calling two hours prior. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to charity of choice or Heartland Hospice-Fort Wayne.
