David Vincent Broadway, Jr. (74) of Kinston, NC died Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. He was born on September 23, 1944 in Kinston, to the late David Vincent Broadway Sr. and Annie Lee Rhodes Broadway. Survivors: sister, Carol Broadway Bowers and husband Charles of Clinton, aunt, Louise Rhodes of Kinston, Brother-in-law, John Kemp Bennett of Kinston.

Nieces: Vicki Bowers, Donna Bowers Odum, of Clinton, Kimberly Bennett Edwards and Janet Bennett of Kinston. Great Nieces: Meredeth Odum and Mackenzie Odum of Clinton. Great-Great Niece: Briana Melvin of Clinton, and numerous special cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Rose Broadway Bennett. Memorial service will be held at New Hope Baptist Church. 1990 NC Hwy 11/55 Kinston, NC, on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family would be pleased for you to make a donation to the Parkinson’s Foundation or the American Diabetes Association in memory of David.
