David W. Last, age 57, of Appleton, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Brewster Village after a courageous battle with cancer. Dave was born in Appleton on December 6, 1961, to the late Norman and Marcene (Kropidiowski) Last. He graduated at Appleton East High School with the class of 1980.

Dave worked for many years with Long Trucking. He was a very quiet man but had his own unique way of getting his point across. His heaven on earth was his place in Pembine.

Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, a good game of cribbage, and was an avid Packers fan. He is survived by his two sisters: Sue (Ron) Wohlt, Oshkosh and Pat (Mike) Deering, Freedom; and a niece Elizabeth (Crissa Hipp) Deering. He was preceded in death by his parents Norman and Marcene Last, and a brother Michael.

A memorial service will take place at 11 am on Friday, December 14th, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2331 E. Lourdes, Appleton, with Father Donald Zuleger officiating. Friends may visit at the church on Friday from 10 am until the time of service. Inurnment will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
