Obituary for David Warren Tobey Retired Lt. Col. David W. Tobey Retired USAF Lieutenant Colonel David Warren Tobey, 88, Mesa, Arizona, passed away in his home on September 2, 2018, after fighting Parkinson’s disease for over 20 years.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on September 15, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church, 161 North Mesa Drive, Mesa, AZ, 85201. Interment of ashes will be at the Church’s Prayer Garden and a life celebration will be held following the services at the Church. Reverend Ann Conklin will preside over the services.

Meldrum Mortuary, 52 MacDonald Street, Mesa, AZ, 85201, will provide funeral arrangements. David was born on September 18, 1929, to LeRoy and Gladys Tobey of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lila Lee, and four children: Greg Tobey, San Francisco, CA, Rebecca Walker, Vicki Wieler and husband, Curtis, Robyn Becher and husband, Gary, all of Gilbert, AZ; 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
