Obituary for David W. McKinley David W. McKinley, 75, husband of the late Gail (Esposito) McKinley, died on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Apple Rehab-Coccomo after a long illness. Born in Waterbury on September 5, 1943, he was the son of the late Archibald and Jane (Doolittle) McKinley. He was a longtime Cheshire resident, moving to Meriden in 2002.

Mr. McKinley retired from the State of Connecticut in 2002 after over thirty years of employment. He was a veteran of the Navy Reserve. He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer McKinley of Meriden; a sister-in-law, Lori Esposito; two nephews, Patrick T. O’Donovan Jr. of New Britain and John Michael O’Donovan of Meriden and a great-nephew, Nicholas A. O’Donovan of Meriden.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Bridget’s Cemetery, 150 Higgins Road, Cheshire. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the cemetery. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to his daughter, Jennifer McKinley. Arrangements are under the direction of the John J.
