Davin graduated from Perham High School in 2008. Davin loved learning and following God’s will. He always thought of the other person first.

He had a Christ-like spirit at all times, even when the bullies were after him. He would let it go and say, “Jesus said we are not to hurt others, but pray for them! ” He participated in Tae Kwon Do, Scouts, Sunday School, swimming and loved family vacations all over the United States.

In high school, he earned many awards in speech competitions, Knowledge Bowl and science research. Davin loved challenges and used his intelligence wisely. He also loved working with Mr. Wankel and Mr. Kosiak on community plays and was a great sound and lighting technician.

Davin attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls for Pharmacy and Bio Tech majors. He then went to work in Page, AZ to teach science to special needs Navajo high school students. Davin was so understanding and compassionate to those less fortunate.

In 2015, Davin moved back to Minnesota and got his B.S. in Medical Science and Counseling. The day he died at home, he had his bags packed and was leaving for Duluth, MN to spend two years getting his Master’s in DNA Genetic Counseling. He was so excited to begin a new adventure on earth to use his caregiving talents for God.

God had another plan. Davin is now in Heaven with his grandfather and his beloved dog Bonita. Praise the life and memories of Davin Bauck.

He has done his mission and God took him back home. Davin’s family and friends will miss his love deeply as he loved and appreciated them all. His best memories are being at the farm, the log house his dad built, vacations to Disney, Alaska and Hawaii.

He even went overseas to China and Australia in his short life. Davin positively affected many lives. Dean and Diane have been blessed to have him as a part of their lives for 28 years!
