Dawn L. Eschbach, 60, of Sanford, NC, formally of East Greenville, died Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC, after a brief illness. She was the wife of Ricky D. Eschbach, recently celebrating 29 years of marriage on February 10th. Born February 14, 1959 in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Catherine A. (Schwoyer) Schmoyer Rotenberger and James C. Schmoyer, and step-daughter of the late Charles Rotenberger.

She was a member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ in East Greenville. She was also a longtime member of East Greenville Fire Company, East Greenville Owls Nest 1302, Red Hill VFW Post 5954 and the Palm American Legion Post 184. Surviving along with her husband are her children, Jennifer Styer of Palm, Luke Eschbach and wife, Abbey of Williamsport, PA, Lara Eschbach and companion, Randall Naftal of Pottstown, PA, Lacie Eschbach of Pottstown, PA and Logan Eschbach and companion, Amanda Jenkins of Pottstown, PA; seven grandchildren, Cassidy, Carly, Gage, Henry, Ryan, Evelyn and Griffin; two great-grandchildren, Marley and Journey; sisters, Sharon, wife of Ernie Clemens of Sanford, NC, Roxana Kulp of East Greenville, PA, Lisa, wife of Ronnie Oberholtzer of East Greenville; brother Raymond “Butch” Schmoyer and wife, Gail of East Greenville, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, James C. Schmoyer, II. A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 4 pm on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at the East Greenville Fire House, 401 Washington St, East Greenville, PA 18041. Arrangements entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041.
