Dawn’s Obituary Teresa Dawn Farrison, 58, entered into eternal life on April 3rd, 2019 at her home in Tempe, Arizona. Dawn was born to loving parents William L. and Teresa H. Farrison in Richmond, Virginia on November 29th, 1960. As an attorney specializing in contract law, she spent many years representing the San Lucy District, of the Tohono O’odham Nation.

Deeply rooted in her community, Dawn not only attended Gathering of Nations and collected Native American artwork, but also lobbied in Washington D.C. on numerous occasions for the new Desert Diamond Casino & Resort in the West Valley. Dawn had many passions in her life, including a love of baseball; attending Chicago Cubs Spring training yearly and coaching the Rio Salado Little League with her late husband. More recently, she found great joy in volunteering within the Tempe Elementary School District, sharing her love of reading with the young children of the area.

Dawn is survived by her mother Teresa H. Farrison, her brothers Dana, William, Dennis and Roger Farrison, and her sisters Donna Koenig, Linda Waggener and Karen Lord. A graveside service will be held at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, April 27th at the Tempe Double Butte Cemetery (2505 W. Broadway Road, Tempe, Arizona). This will be followed by a memorial service at Dawn’s home.
