Dawson Horn, 76, of Cato, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019. He was born in Little Rock on November 28, 1942 to the late Euell and Lonis Dawson Horn. Dawson was a lifelong carpenter, a U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran as part of the Naval Seabee Construction Crew serving from 1966-1968, and a member of the Cato Front Porch Society.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bill Horn. Dawson is survived by his daughter, Becky Rogers (Bobby) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; by granddaughter, Kristen Williams; by brothers L.D. Horn and Corey Horn, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss him. A visitation will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Smith-Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107) with Graveside service 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 14, at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
