Visiting Hours: Saturday, December 1st, 7-9:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 2nd, 2-4:30 p.m. at our Bayport funeral home. Mass of the Transferal: Sunday, December 2nd, 8 p.m. at Our Lady of the Snow RC Church, Blue Point. Mass of the Christian Burial: Monday, December 3rd, 9:45 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snow RC Church, Blue Point.

Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery. Deacon Frank Charles Hartmann, 73, of Ridge, LI, formerly a 40 year resident of Blue Point, LI, died on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, after a long illness. Frank served as a longtime Deacon at Our Lady of the Snow RC Church in Blue Point and also St. Philip Neri RC Church in Fort Mill, SC.

Frank served in the US Navy during Vietnam and worked as a general insurance adjuster with Travelers Insurance Company before retiring about five years ago. He was also a member of the Knights of Colombus in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Deacon Frank is survived by his wife, Annabelle, five children, Mary Kay Bond of Florida, Donna Hartmann (Jim Lane) of Rocky Point, Frank Hartmann IV (Michele) of Blue Point, James Walsh (Tina) of Patchogue and Kevin Walsh (Debbie) of Selden, as well as his seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
