Deanne Kaye Wood, age 48, passed away peacefully at Manor Care in Appleton on February 2nd, 2019. Deanne was born in Panorama City, California on November 14th, 1970, to the late Gary Wood and Laura Ellis. Deanne enjoyed her job at Valley Packaging in Appleton and attended The Outreach Center where she met many people.

Most people knew her by DE DE. Deanne was a fun loving person. She enjoyed life itself and she was very easy going.

She also loved to laugh, joke around and loved her Mountain Dew! ! Deanne survived by her mother Laura Ellis, her sisters: Leida (Brian) Sleik, Shirley (Mark) Adams, and Julie Wood her brothers: Mike Lampe, Tim (Martha) Lampe and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father Gary Wood, step father Wayne Lampe and a sister Amanda Lampe. A Memorial Service for Deanne will be 4:00 PM on Sunday February 10th, 2019 at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 2211 N. Richmond Street, with Pastor Mike Huff officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday afternoon beginning at 2:00 until 3:45 PM, with the memorial service to begin at 4:00 PM.

Our family would like to thank her caregiver Tammi Stamick for the many years of care while she was at the group home, the doctors and staff at ThedaCare Regional Center of Appleton for doing everything they could do for her and to the nurses and hospice at Manor Care for making her as comfortable as possible. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Deanne’s name.
