OBITUARY Debbie Kay Wessley May 19, 1960 – January 16, 2019 Debbie Kay Wessley, 58, passed away unexpectedly at St Luke’s Hospital on January 16, 2019. She was born to Norris and Janette Oldvader in May 1960. She was united in marriage to Bradley Scott Wessley in October 1991 and lived in Raytown all her life.

She attended Raytown South High School and William Jewell College. When Debbie was 18, she was involved in a serious car accident, had brain surgery and was in a coma for 6 weeks. The doctor gave no encouragement that she would live but with answered prayers and hours of therapy she recovered.

She is survived by her husband, her parents, and brother, Kevin Oldvader. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 26th at 11AM at Southview Baptist Church, where she was a charter member with the Reverend Sean Brooks officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service.

Burial will be at Floral Hills East in Lee’s Summit MO.
