Debora Jean Clarkson January 1, 1949 – January 1, 2019 Debora Jean Clarkson, 70, of rural Peru, Indiana, died at 1:00 am, Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at her home. She was born January 1, 1949 in Wabash, Indiana to Hirmon Lee and Lois (Irelan) Speicher. Debora was a 1967 graduate of Southwood High School, and attended International Business College, in Fort Wayne.

She married Thomas L. Clarkson in Auburn, Indiana on December 4, 1976; he died December 3, 2008. She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting, oil painting, crafting, and collecting antiques. She is survived by her two children, Lora (Lance) Rosencrans of Alexandria, Indiana, and Andrew Christman of Muncie, Indiana, three grandchildren, Jessica (Ryan) Fishback of Wabash, Ryan Christman of Anderson, Indiana, and Lliam Rosencrans of Alexandria, two great-grandchildren, Mason Fishback and Ella Fishback, both of Wabash.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 7, 2019 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with David Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Mississinewa Cemetery, Somerset, Indiana. Friends may call 10 – 11:00 a.m., Monday, at the funeral home.
