Deborah “Deb” Lynn Shufeldt, age 61, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018 after a courageous 4 year battle with primary progressive aphasia. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 12, 1957 to John and Iona (Aldrich) Harlow. Deb had an Associate’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and was employed at Mercy Health Systems for 32 years.

Deb was a member of OLPH where she served as a Lector and distributor. She volunteered at Mobile Meals and the Sight Center of Northwest… Read More » Ohio. Deb organized blood drives at Mercy Hospital and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She also enjoyed running; the outdoors and walks in the park with her husband, Mike. Deb completed the NY City Marathon on November 6, 1988. She is survived by her husband, Mike; sons, Joseph Smith and Justin (Karla) Smith; grandchildren, Mason and River; mother, Iona Kopp; mother-in-law, Betty Shufeldt; siblings, John Harlow, Jay Kopp, Kathy Kopp and Donald Paul (Roxanne) Kopp.

Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Deb was preceded in death by her father, John and father-in-law, Henry Shufeldt. The family would like to thank Visiting Angels and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for the exceptional care they provided Deb in her finals days.

Family and Friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St, Maumee, OH. on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 3-8 P.M. with a scripture at 7 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 2255 Central Grove, Toledo, OH. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg.
