Debra (Debbie) Kay Campbell Johnson, 64, of Nibley, UT died peacefully at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden, UT on Friday, February 8, 2019. Debbie was born October 5, 1954 in Idaho Falls, ID to Wendell Odell and Janet Juanita Curtis Campbell. Her early life was lived in the Idaho Falls area, attending Bonneville High School.

When her family moved to Burley in 1969, she attended Burley High School, graduating in 1972. She married Jack Wesley Johnson, her high school sweetheart and classmate, for time and eternity in the Ogden, UT LDS Temple on March 15, 1975. For years after their marriage, Jack worked for Debbie’s father in his sporting goods stores in Burley.

They moved to Logan, UT in 1985, and have made their home in Cache Valley since then, where Jack has worked in media sales. Debbie was active in the LDS church, working in Young Womens, Primary, and Relief Society organizations. She loved people, making life-long friends easily.

Debbie worked hard to make the best of hard situations and was proud of being sassy, determined and courageous in facing adversities. When faced with trials, she often said, “I can do this- I can do hard things”. Debbie is survived by her husband, Jack; daughter, Audrey Leigh (Brevan) Baugh, Providence; son Mason Wendell Johnson, Nibley; daughter-in-law Trisha Kofoed (James) Maughan, Wellsville; sisters Vicky (Alan) McCombs, Hyrum, Becky (Paul) Robertson, Paul, ID, Wendy(Norman) Howell, Garland, UT, Shawna (Sam) Howlett, Lehi, UT, and Cherise Cricket (Marty) Carillo, Preston, ID; brother Kim (Mary) Campbell, Ucon, ID; grandsons Spencer, Aaron & Benjamin Bandley, Jaden & Madden Baugh, and Simon & Ryker Johnson; and granddaughters Jenna Johnson, Kaiya & Leah Baugh and Oakley Maughan along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Wendell and Janet Campbell; father and mother-in-law, H. Fredrick and Leora Johnson; and her son, Cory Cramer Johnson. A viewing will be held from 6 – 8 pm Friday, February 15 at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center St. Logan. Funeral services will be held Saturday February 16 at 11:00 am, with a viewing from 9:30-10:30 am at the Nibley Stake Center, 3701 S. 450 W. in Nibley.

Interment will be at the Millville/Nibley Cemetery immediately after the services. Condolences may be sent to the family at www. allenmortuaries.net.
