Debra Sue Gillespie, 61 of Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Ms. Gillespie’s funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at West and Dunn Funeral Home Chapel of Erwin beginning at 1:00 pm. Rev.

John Blackman will be officiating the service. Interment following the funeral service will be held at Pleasant Grove Freewill Baptist Church of Dunn. Ms. Gillespie is survived by her husband, James Stewart of Fayetteville, sons, Eric Flynn Gillespie and Charles Randall Gillespie of Fayetteville, sisters, Doris McLamb of Linden, Wanda McLeod of Coats, and Pam Elliott of Erwin, several nieces and nephews, and beloved pet, Gunner.

Ms. Gillespie is preceded in death by her parents, Flynn and Dorothy Lee of Coats, sister, Barbara Horne of Fayetteville, brother, Flynn Lee Jr. of Erwin. A special thanks to the Cape Fear Health nursing staff for the great care that was provided. Condolences can be made to www.
