Dee Franks, Jr., 69, of Arkabutla, MS, passed away July 19, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto. He was a member of Evansville Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Fran Franks of Arkabutla, MS; daughters, Patsy Gentry (John Glenn) of Arkansas, Pam Lowrimore, Sondra Edmonds, Louise Franks and Danielle Tindall, all of Arkabutla, MS; sisters, Shirley Whitehead, Sarah Andrews both of Waynesboro, TN and Pam Roberson of Collinwood,TN; brother, Ted Franks of Waynesboro, TN; 8 granddaughters and 4 great grandsons.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dee and Esther Franks. Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
