OBITUARY Delores Jeannie Rachal August 5, 1949 – November 3, 2018 Delores Jeannie Rachal passed away Saturday evening in Austin,Texas. She was born in Mt. Vernon, Illinois to Clyde Whitsell and Grace Alstadt who preceded her in death, and she was later adopted by Rev.

Allen and Lillie Stephens. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Leo F. Rachal, Jr., and her father, Allen Stephens, along with brothers Ray Whitsell and Donald Whitsell and sister, Juanita Morlan. Delores was a loving wife and mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.

She faced life as she did death, with a steadfast resiliency familiar to all who knew her, remaining strong in spirit both throughout her life and on the day the Lord called her home. That spirit continues to provide a great of comfort and strength to those who loved her. Delores is survived by her mother, Lillie Stephens; sons, Eric M. Rachal and wife Melissa, and Michael A. Rachal; brother Arthur Whitsell along with many loving nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Elizabeth La Rosa and husband Joseph.

She leaves behind two grandsons, Eli F. Rachal and Luke Roddy Rachal, along with many other people she loved. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to Hospice Austin. www.
