Obituary for Deloris A. Smith Deloris A. Smith, 77, of Richmond, IN and formerly of Eldorado and Eaton, Ohio, and Athens Alabama, passed away Monday morning, October 8, 2018. Deloris was born July 17, 1941 in Harlan, KY, one of 11 children born to the late Calvin G. and Flora N. (Powers) York. She had worked as a press operator for 20 + years with PRC Recording in Richmond, and several other jobs later.

She enjoyed family vacations and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers Herbert, Kenneth, Floyd, Willis and Alvin York; sister Thelma Leisey and two other siblings at an early age. Deloris is survived by husband of 60 years Johnny L. Smith, whom she married November 22, 1958; daughters Robin Hensley and husband Mike of Richmond, Teresa El Abbassi of Hamilton and Vicky Wheeler and husband Patrick of Hazel Green, AL; grandchildren Bryon Hensley, Eric Hensley and wife Sarah, Christian Combs, Kyle Combs, Ryan El Abbassi and Miriam El Abbassi; brother and sister Carl York of Ft.
