Ms. Denise Michelle Hawkins, 45, of Hagerstown, died Wednesday evening, February 6, 2019, at her residence. Born September 20, 1973, in Hagerstown, she was a daughter of the late Bradford Eugene and Teresa May Davis Hawkins. Denise very much enjoyed playing various video games on various gaming systems.

Surviving are her children, Theresa Hawkins, and Janet and Healie Garland; grandchildren, Tealah, Bradley, Luna and Jae’siaughn; her siblings Kimberly K. Mellott, and Bradford E., Jr., Darren L. and Larry W. Hawkins; and step siblings, Judy A. Wolff and Donald L. Shoop, Jr.; and her former spouses John Garland, Wayne Parker, and John Fotta. Beside her parents, Denise was preceded in death by her grandson, Cassius. The Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 East Antietam Street, Hagerstown, is handing the arrangements.

There will not be visiting at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held Monday morning, February 11, 10:30 AM, at Rose Hill Cemetery. Family and friends will gather just inside the main gate and process to the grave as a group just prior to services beginning.
