Obituary for Denise Louise Murphy Denise Louise Murphy, 63, of Yalaha, FL passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018. Mrs. Murphy was born December 27, 1954 in Aurora, CO to George and Florence (Nadeau) Davis. She moved to Yalaha from Boston, MA, but was living in Tampa prior to that.

Denise had a gentle and loving soul and became a nurse to help others. As a Registered Nurse she practiced in Tampa General and in Leesburg Regional Medical Center. Denise attended St. Paul Catholic Church; volunteered as the Secretary of The Springs HOA Board of Directors and loved gardening, crafts and sewing.

Survivors include her loving husband of 4 years, Frank; children, Monica Vargas of Tampa, Shanan Mason of Seattle, WA, Patricia Anderson of Jacksonville and Aaron Grogg of Tampa; parents, Florence and David Vancas of Yalaha; sister, Lisa Weist of Monte Rio, CA; brothers, George Davis of Coeur d’ Alene, ID, Todd Duncan of Santa Rosa, CA and Lori Williams of Rowlett, TX; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A prayer service will be held at 2:00 pm with a visitation to follow until 4:00pm, Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Page-Theus Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 8:30am, Monday, May 14, 2018 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Leesburg with interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg.
