Obituary for Dorothy Fussell Dorothy G. Fussell, 81, Okahumpka, Florida went to be with the Lord on September 22, 2018 under the loving care of her husband and staff of Avante of Leesburg. Dorothy was born on October 31, 1936 in Arkansas. She retired from Sprint as a Phone Operator after 40+ years of service.

She was a devoted member of Okahumpka Baptist Church. She was a devoted Christian and loved her church. Dorothy was a loving and giving friend to all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years: James C. Fussell of Okahumpka, FL; a daughter: Carla Smith and husband Robert of Killeen, TX; three brothers: Michael, Joe and Lloyd; three sisters: Phyllis, Janice and Christine; two grandsons: Kyle Smith and his wife Andrea and Nicholas Smith and his wife Danielle; one great-granddaughter Sumer and many many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 11:00AM at Okahumpka Baptist Church in Okahumpka, FL. A visitation will be on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 10:00AM till the hour of service at the church.
