Obituary for Dennis Campbell Dennis Campbell, 71, of Reidsville, NC left his earthly home to gain his heavenly mansion on Thursday, October 11, 2018. As per Dennis’ wishes a private service will be held at a later date. He was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend.

He adored his wife and family and loved celebrating life with them. Dennis was a 1966 graduate of Reidsville Sr. High school. He served bravely in the US Army in the Vietnam War, earning a Purple Heart.

His family is proud and thankful for his selfless military service. He worked 32 years at AT&T (formerly Bell South) and after retiring he contracted as an inspector with TPRC. He had numerous hobbies over the years including painting cars, woodworking and being a member of the Rockingham County gun club.

He loved most of all spending time at the beach with his family. His sons were his proudest accomplishments and enjoyed many wonderful fishing trips with them. Along with his parents, Bill and Edith Campbell he is preceded in death by his aunt Geneva and uncle Bob Williams.

Surviving are his cherished wife of 47 years, Ann Davis Campbell, sons, Jason Campbell (Kim), Scott Campbell; grandchildren, Michael Plummer (Mandy), Mason Campbell (Tate), Barid Campbell (Selina), and Chelsie A. Campbell, siblings Sharon Rager (Tim) of IN, Daryl Campbell (Joy) of FL, Robbin Criger (James) of Hickory, NC. Also surviving are his treasured in-laws Debbie Haskins and Bobby, Al Davis, Sherry Isley and special friend Billy Clifton. Each of you that knew and loved Dennis, were loved as well.
