Funeral services for Dennis Goetsch, 86, of Chariton will be Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church in Chariton. Family will receive friends Tuesday, at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Interment will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the Kiron Cemetery near Dennison, Iowa. In Lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to the Lucas County Humane Society, because of Dennis’s great love for animals.

Dennis passed away February 22, 2019. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 60 years, Janice Goetsch; daughters: Jodi (James) Draper, and Julie Goetsch; grandchildren: Anneliese Jackson and Quinn Jackson; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Glenn and Esther Carlson Goetsch; siblings: Dale (Maxine) Goetsch, Darrell (Wilma) Goetsch, Dorothy (Ben) Heiney, and Donna (Gage) Swanson; and brother-in-law, James Albert Quade.
