Dennis R. Scheib, age 72, of Conway, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 13, 2018 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born June 26, 1946 in Conway, Pa. to the late Clifford and Elvie Barto Scheib.

He was a retired sales manager for several lumber yards in Beaver County. Dennis was a longtime member and employee of Orchard Hill Church, Wexford, a member of the NRA and the Ambridge District Sportsman Association. His passions in life were hunting and golfing, but what was most important to him were his kids and grandkids.

Preceding him in death in addition to his parents was a sister, Gale Bogolea. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Carole Slivka Scheib, a daughter, Denise (Chet) Green of Economy, a son, D.C. Scheib of Cumming, GA. , five grandchildren, Spencer and Molly Green, and Corey, Jaden, and Trevor Scheib, a sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Rich Kozak Sr. of Conway, a niece, Kathy (Ron) Coder of Pittsburgh and a nephew, Rich Kozak Jr. (fiancée Betsy Somerville) of Center Twp.

Friends will be received Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 in the John Syka Funeral Home, 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge. A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of a celebration of life at 11:00 AM at Orchard Hill Church, 2551 Brandt School Rd, Wexford, Pa. Private interment will take place in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Orchard Hill Church.
