Patricia “Patty” Dougherty, 69, of Baden, died unexpectedly on Saturday, October 6, 2018. She was born January 17, 1949, in Sharon, Pa. , to the late Frank and Jane Garhart Leyde.

Surviving are her husband, Tom Dougherty, children, Pete (Jennifer) Dougherty of Covington, LA, Katy (Lawrence) Ake, Kevin (Megan) Dougherty, all of Baden, five grandchildren, Logan and Maddy Oberlin, and John, Sarah, and Hailey Ake, a sister, Debbie (Walter) Revoal of Denver, CO, three brothers, David (Debra) Leyde of Sharon, Tommy Leyde and Chris Leyde, both of State College, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her brother, Teddy Leyde. Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, where a service will be conducted on Friday at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be private.
