Tracey Lynn Egercic, 47, of Ambridge passed away on November 23, 2018. Tracey was born on June 9, 1971, in Sewickley, Pa. and was the oldest daughter of David Egercic of Kenedy, Texas and the late Sandra Buk Egercic, who passed away on January 4, 2010.

Tracey was a member of the Good Samaritan Church and had attended the former Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Croatian Church, Ambridge. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, John and Theresa Buk and her paternal grandparents, Frank and Eva Egercic; several uncles, an aunt, and a special uncle, Stephen Buk. Tracey was an outgoing and friendly person who enjoyed many activities and social events.

Health problems in recent years limited her physical abilities, but she remained dedicated to the things that were near and dear to her including the Pittsburgh Penguins, Elvis, her Croatian heritage, concerts and movies, and supporting the breast cancer awareness charities. Tracey also loved and doted on her fur baby, Bella, who will miss her mama’s attention. Tracey was fortunate to find the love of her life, Andy White, with whom she shared many happy memories over the past eight years.

She was preparing to celebrate Thanksgiving with Andy at his Greenfield home, when a tragic house fire on November 21, took their lives. Andy died on Thanksgiving Day and Tracey the following day from injuries they sustained in the fire. Although her death was sudden and unexpected, she was an organ donor and through her death, others will benefit.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her sister, Denise R. Egercic (Pete Calandra) who provided Tracey with a home and loving care during her health issues and disability. She also leaves behind an aunt, Fran Buk (Mark Williamson), an uncle Frank Egercic, and cousins, Stephen Buk Jr., Tiffany Buk, Danielle, James, Timothy, and Sean Egercic and their families. Although Tracey came from a small family, she had a family of friends who enriched her life, brought her joy, and who will miss her presence in their lives.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES INC. , 1099 Maplewood Ave. , Ambridge, where a Blessing service will be held Thursday, November 29, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
