Wayne B. Bennett, 87 of Conway, died Wednesday, November 14, 2018 in Good Samaritan Hospice of Beaver with his loving family by his side. He was born July 29, 1931, in Sturgeon, PA, to the late Benjamin and Alice (Webster) Bennett. He was a retired supervisor in the strip mill department of the former Jones and Laughlin Steel Corporation, Aliquippa and a member of Baden United Methoidist Church.

Wayne was an avid golfer and a member of the former Beaver Lakes Country Club. He enjoyed working outside, but his passion in life was spending time with family and especially his grandchildren. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were his granddaughter, Emily Bennett and a sister, Carol Kastovich.

Surviving are his loving wife of 63 years, Wanda Hainaut Bennett, a son, Jeff (Patti) Bennett of Sewickley, a daughter, Jodi (Dwight) McCune of Robinson Twp. , four grandchildren, T.J. Bennett of Boston, MA, Connor, Nick and Alyssa McCune, brother-in-law, Jack Kastovich of Melbourne, FL, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Friends will be received Sunday from 1-5 P.M. in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge where a funeral service will be conducted on Monday at 11:00 A.M. Entombment with full military honors provided by the Beaver County Special Unit and the U.S. Army will follow at noon in Sylvania Hills Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Beaver County Cancer Society or to the Baden United Methodist Church.
