Dennis R. Zeckser, age 64, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Friday evening, January 4, 2019 at the Wilmington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by his loved ones. He was born November 5, 1954 in Topeka, Kansas son of the late Vernon Henry Zeckser and Joye Elaine (Shepherd) Zeckser, of Fairborn, Ohio. On January 16, 1993 in Fairborn, Ohio, he married Debra J. Gorsuch Zeckser, who survives.

A drag racing enthusiast, Dennis owned and operated DZ Enterprises for close to 20 years. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. In addition to his mother and wife, other surviving family members are his son- Derek (Shelby Edwards) Zeckser, Wilmington; daughter- Darcie Zeckser, Wilmington; brother- Alan (Karen) Zeckser, Donnelsville, Ohio; sister-in-law- Suzy Zeckser, Fairborn, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Dennis was preceded in death by his brother- Gary Zeckser. Memorial Services will be held 12:00 Noon, Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Faith Lutheran Church, 421 East Vine Street at Prairie Avenue, Wilmington with Rev. June Fryman officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until the time of services. Contributions in Dennis’ memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 644 Linn Street, Suite 1026, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203 or the church. .
