Timothy Charles Shrode, Age 62, of New Vienna, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday evening March 24, 2019 in Wilmington as the result of a car accident. He was born March 27, 1956 in Tiffin, Ohio the son of the late John Charles & Alice Edna (Spitler) Shrode. A 1974 Tiffin High School Graduate, he was a US Marines Corps Veteran.

TIm worked as an avionics technician for Airborne Express for over 39 years. Surviving are his siblings- Jim C. Shrode, Tiffin, John C. “Jack” Shrode, of Tennessee, Larry K. Shrode, Tiffin and Debbie Erfman, of Bowling Green, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his brother- Wayne Shrode.

Memorial Remembrance Services will be held at a later date at the Tiffin Ranger Camp, where he spent a lot of time in his youth in the summers. The US Marine Corps Funeral Detail and Veterans Services Honor Guard will accord full military honors for Tim at the Remembrance Time. The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington has been entrusted with the arrangements.
