Dennis Robert O’Donnell, Sr., age 66, a life-long resident of McKees Rocks, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Ohio Valley Hospital. Dennis was born in California on March 12, 1952, the oldest of 8, born to the late John and Catherine (Schrecengost) O’Donnell. In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen (Landa) O’Donnell and his son Dennis Robert O’Donnell, Jr. Beloved father of Brittany O’Donnell, siblings: Karen (Jim) DeRuyter, Dale Perrotta, John O’Donnell, Erin (Donald) Vith, Joseph O’Donnell, Mary (Chuck) Landa, Neil (Bernadette)O’Donnell; and girlfriend Doris Ross.

Dennis was a 1971 graduate of Sto-Rox High School and after, served in the U.S. Navy. He was the most unpretentious individual, was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a fan of football and baseball.

He was all about smiles and laughter. He brought joy to others. In effort to leave the world a better place, Dennis donated his body to science.

Please join his family in celebrating his life with visitation on Saturday from 12 noon until his memorial service at 2 PM at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Avenue. Family suggests donations in his memory to a charity of your choice.
