Obituary for Dennis T. Kopp Dennis T. Kopp, of Lansdale, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, in ManorCare Health Services, Montgomeryville. He was 73. He was the beloved husband of Jean M. (Newsome) Kopp for 31 years.
Born in Sellersville, Dennis was the son of the late Francis T., Jr. and Lillian (Nuss) Kopp. Mr. Kopp had been employed for 42 years as a building and groundskeeper for the Borough of Lansdale. He was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church, Lansdale.
An avid bowler and fisherman, Dennis had also enjoyed auto racing. When younger, he had helped with the race cars at Grandview Speedway. Blessed with a good sense of humor, Dennis was a loving, caring husband.
In addition to his wife, Dennis is survived by his two step-daughters, Anita Marie Cressman, of Harrisburg and Amy Lynn Mecray, of Lansdale; five grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley, Aleysha, Maya, and Katie; and two sisters, Loretta J. Goyda, of Shelly, and Barbara B. Behn, of Lansdale. He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Kopp. His funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, in Calvary Baptist Church, 1380 South Valley Forge Road, Lansdale, PA 19446 with a visitation from 6 p.m. until time of service.
