Mr. Devin Hammond of Raeford passed away on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019 at his home, at the age of 38. Devin was born in Cumberland County on June 27, 1980.

He was self- employed as a tree climber for Hoke and the surrounding counties. He is survived by his daughter, Sierra Skye Hammond of Raeford, a step-daughter, Theresa Conklin of Raeford; his mother, Bonnie Day-Waltho (Alan) of Dundalk, Ontario, Canada; his father, Gary Hammond (Shelia) Raeford, two brothers, Chris Schmidt of Cambridge, Ontario, Canada and Joey Schmidt of Olympia, Wa. ; three sisters, Alida Shea Hammond of Fayetteville, Courtney Jackson of Raeford and Tiffany Renee Hammond (Jonathan) of Raeford; Maternal grand-mother Nellie Day of Dundalk, Ontario, Canada; Paternal grand-father, Elmer Hammond (Shirley) of Fayetteville.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 4:00 until 5:00 pm at Crumpler Funeral Home, 131 Harris Ave. Raeford, NC Services will follow at 5:00 pm on Wednesday at Crumpler Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Gary Deese officiating.
