Obituary for Diane L. McCalip Diane L. McCalip, 65, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at NYU Langone in Manhattan. Diane is a lifelong resident of Annadale, and has lived in the same home since her birth. She graduated from St. Joseph By The Sea High School.

She was a customer service representative in the Staten Island Office of the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles for 20 years, retiring in 2011. She loved traveling, especially to South Dakota, Texas and Florida. She also enjoyed tending to her garden and practicing the Art of Buddhism.

Diane will be remembered by all for having a kind heart and being a selfless and caring person who always put others first. She was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Marilyn Pisano and her brother-in-law, Louis DiBella. She was the beloved wife of 28 year to William McCalip.

Loving sister to Joanne DiBella and Andrew Pisano. Dear sister-in-law to Laura Pisano and Donald and Nancy McCalip. Fond daughter-in-law to Leona McCalip.

Devoted aunt to Louis DiBella, Jr., Deanna DiBella, Nicholas Pisano, Michelle Pisano, Donald McCalip and Kelly McCalip and great aunt to her 5 great nieces and nephews. Diane is also surived by her ”furry best friend”, Nate The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, December 14, 2018, at The John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd. (at Eltingville Station), Staten Island, New York.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church located at 5411 Amboy Road Staten Island, New York 10312.
