Diane R. Lilly, age 78 of Marion, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at ThedaCare Medical Center, New London. Diane Rose Cirra was born on November 1, 1939 in Milwaukee to the late Frank and Helen (Markawietz) Cirra. Diane grew up in the Milwaukee area and after her father’s death her mother re-married Harold “Pat” Much who became an influential father figure in her life.

Diane was united in marriage to George O. Lilly on March 30, 1957 in Mt. Vernon, IL. The couple resided in Butler, Brookfield, Milwaukee, and Franklin prior to moving to Marion in 1998.

While in the Milwaukee area, Diane worked at Photo Finish and was later employed at Pine Manor Health Care Center in Embarrass after moving to Marion. She retired in 2004. Her life revolved around her family.

Diane loved hosting holiday gatherings and spending time with her children at Friess Lake near Hartford. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, working in her flower beds, and playing cards. Diane will be remembered for the love she gave to her family.

Survivors include: Her daughter: Deborah (Nick) Kiedrowski, Milwaukee Her sons: George A. Lilly, Marion Kenneth F. (Carol) Lilly, Marion John P. (Lore) Lilly, Appleton 8 grandchildren 6 great-grandchildren Brother: Dennis (Sue) Cirra, Saukville She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Harold “Pat” Much, her husband, George, and sister, Connie Toro. With respect to the wishes of the Lilly family, there will be no formal services held.
