Dianne Marie Johnson Benjamin 66, of Katy Texas gained her heavenly wings Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at North Cypress Hospital, surrounded by her family and friends. She was a unique and caring individual who touched the lives of all who knew her. She was totally dedicated to her children and grandchildren in all aspects of their lives.

Dianne had a life long affair with sweets and she had a redial finger that wouldn’t quit, just ask Jean who she called at least 40 times a day. She was the connoisseur of sweets, from hiding pecan candy in dresser drawers to eating day old cold chicken & peach cobbler on the same plate. She leaves us with her one firm belief that the greatest show ever made was “Little House On The Prairie” There to greet her with open arms were her father, Fred Johnson Sr, her mother Stella Harper Clark , her brother, Fred Johnson Jr, her sisters Ella Mae Johnson Doffeny & Brenda Faye Ladia Bryant, one niece Willie Marie Ladia and a host of ancestors who have gone before her.

She leaves to cherish her memory Bippie, Nikki & Benji, 6 grandchildren: Joshua, Trovon, Judah, Yeshua, Kayla and Zuriel. One sister Priscilla Hagler-Horn, six nephews: Torry, Fred, Kenneth, OB, Ondray, and Corey, three nieces: Treace, Theresa & Jazzy and a host of cousins, friends and family. Finally the family ask that in honor of Dianne that you grab some sweets and watch a good old western and just remember her laughter.

Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
