Dianne F Letson , June 10, 1961 — June 26, 2018

Obituary for Dianne F. Letson Dianne Frances Letson, 57, of Oceanport, NJ passed away peacefully on June 26, 2018, at her home surrounded by her devoted mother and loving family. Dianne was born on June 10, 1961, to Thomas F. Letson, Jr. and Rose Ann Letson. She was predeceased by her father.

Dianne was incredibly proud of her job, which she held for nearly 35 years, as an associate at the Work Opportunity Center at the ARC of Monmouth. She especially loved Mondays when she would go back to work to be with her dear friends, to know that she was needed and valued, and to earn a modest paycheck that she saved only to spend on gifts for those she loved. Dianne was a loving daughter, a dear sister and a doting aunt.

She loved dogs, especially Bugsy. Dianne filled her days with music from her favorite band, The Monkees; pouring over photographs from her life; making art projects; and playing games with her loved ones. Christmas time was her favorite time of the year.

Her days began and ended with the most genuine smile and an enthusiasm and anticipation of the joy the day ahead would bring. She never once complained about anything and was always content. Dianne leaves behind her loving mother, Rose Ann; her four siblings, Rosanne C. Letson, Tom Letson, Michael Letson, and Tricia Letson Krietzberg and her spouse Curtis Krietzberg; her nephews Christopher Letson, Ian Krietzberg, Josh Krietzberg and her niece Lily Krietzberg; her doting uncle, Frank Curcillo; her cousins Michelle Helms, Nicole Klatsky and their families; and her loyal caregivers Patty Paige and Lois Gidaro.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018 from 4 – 7 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue in Long Branch. Funeral Saturday; 8:30 am from the funeral home followed by a 9:30 am Mass at Holy Trinity Church in Long Branch. Interment will follow at Mt.

Carmel Cemetery in West Long Branch. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Dianne’s name to the ARC of Monmouth, specifically to its “Work Opportunity Center”, 1158 Wayside Road, Tinton Falls, NJ 07712.
