Dianne J. Caudill (nee Tultz), 83, of Norton, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, December 9th, while surrounded by her loving family. Jesus needed a very special Angel and he got the best! She was born in Barberton, Ohio on April 22,1935.

While she was attending Barberton High School, she met the love of her life, Rollie Caudill. They dated for a while and soon realized that they were destined to be husband and wife. So, on October 20, 1951 they became Mr. and Mrs. Rollie C. Caudill.

She was able to make a real home, no matter where they lived, she had a flair for decorating and even considered becoming an interior designer. But fate stepped in and her true calling was revealed, motherhood! She put her heart and soul into her family, her marriage and her home.

She made sure that their home was filled with love, laughter, understanding and food! Lots and lots of food, you never left her home hungry. As the food was being prepared, each family member or guest was entertained with a true story or two.

Each story had a moral to it, one that made you think. One that would stick with you and you could live by. She said many times, that her proudest accomplishment was giving her family a happy home, packed with children who love each other in spite of their differences and that we would be there for each other no matter what, when it matters most.

She cherished her grandchildren and spoke so proudly of each and every one. She loved that they called her MeeMaw, but when she was dubbed “Grandma Diamond” by one of the great grandchildren, she beamed and admonished anyone who tried to correct the child! So, she would answer to both, while secretly wishing they all called her Grandma Diamond!

She would talk to anyone who would listen about her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. A piece of her lives on through each of us and will continue with the generations that follow. Dianne is survived by her husband, first love and best friend of 67 years, Rollie C. Caudill, brothers Joseph (Joyce) Tultz, Edward Tultz.

Son, Matthew (April) Caudill. Daughters, Elizabeth (Bob) Bosley, Christine Caudill, Bridget Carpenter (Albert Brown), Marie (Larry) Hine. 32 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Many nieces and nephews! Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, December 14, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 4022 Johnson Rd. , Norton, OH 44203 with Fr.
