Dianne Kathleen Sharp, 64 of Strawn, passed away Tuesday January 29, 2019 surrounded by family. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1st at First Baptist Church in Strawn.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Marion Cemetery, directed by Edwards Funeral Home of Strawn. She will lie in state at the family home, 4064 Hwy 16, Strawn, TX from noon Thursday until Friday morning.

Dianne was born July 30, 1954 in Camp Pendleton, CA to Jerry Sharp and Frances (Riebe) Sharp. She graduated from Strawn High School. She was a clerk at the Palo Pinto County Clerk’s office for many years.

She loved working outside, taking care of her grandchildren, and enjoyed helping with the sheep & cattle. She was a member of the Merriman Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include a daughter, Amy Fesser and husband James; her mother, Frances Sharp; 2 brothers, Jerry Don Sharp and wife Karen, and Danny Sharp and wife Laura; a sister, Debbie Unkart; 9 grandchildren, Rheagan, Riley and husband Isaac, Ramsey, Ryland, Rayne, Reed, Rush, Rex, and Wryn; and 2 great-grandchildren, Lucas, and Jericho.
