OBITUARY Jo Ann Choate January 10, 1935 – January 28, 2019 Jo Ann Choate, age 84, born January 10, 1935 in Sulphur Springs Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 28, 2019 in Fort Worth Texas. She was born to Homer and Kate Griffin. Preceded in death by her husband of 32 years Dale A. Choate in 2004.

She is survived by her daughters, Michele L. Choate and Monica S. Donelson; grandchildren, Brandon O. Donelson and Brant A. Choate; great grandchildren, Cohen Rye Donelson and Alexander O. Donelson and many family members and friends. Jo Ann graduated from Sulphur Springs High School in 1951 and then earned a bachelor’s degree from East Texas State University of Commerce. She later did graduate work at Texas Woman’s University.

She retired after 35 years as a librarian and system analyst with the Federal Aviation Administration. Jo Ann was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Keller. She loved caring for people especially her family.

In her free time she enjoyed listening to gospel music and reading. Family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm, Friday, February 1, 2019 at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Home, 6001 Rufe Snow Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76148. Funeral Service will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, February 2, 2019 at First Baptist Church Keller, 225 Keller Parkway, Keller, Texas 76248.

Graveside Service will follow at Bourland Cemetery, 900 Bourland Road, Keller, Texas 76248. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jo Ann’s memory to Alzheimer’s Association, act. alz.org.
