Dimani Raniya Smith, affectionately known as “Mani” was born on June 3, 2007 to Dominique Tillery and Ardia Smith. She departed this life on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Vidant Medical Center surround by her family. “Mani” attended school at Bethel Elementary School in Bethel, NC.

She received awards for outstanding student, and Terrific Kid. “Mani” also had the privilege to forecast the weather at the local TV Station. “Mani” was an excellent student that loved school.

She was always the “teacher” to her sibling and cousins. “Mani’s” passion was dancing and she never went anywhere without her lip gloss and her fingernails done. She was fond of a lot of things and the character “Tinkerbell” was one of them.

“Mani” was the link that brought the family together with love and happiness. “Mani” leaves precious memories to her parents, Dominique Tillery of Greenville, NC, Ardia Smith of the home; three brothers, Dimasian Smith of the home, Ja’sian Smith of the home, Aiden Tillery of Greenville, NC; one sister, Aubree Tillery of Greenville; paternal grandparents, David and Deloris Tillery of Greenville, NC; maternal grandparents, Will Dixon of Greenville, NC and Evette Smith of Greenville, NC; special great-grandmother, Gloria Smith of Greenville, NC; special playmates, Ezirah Smith, Rakhia Taft, Brooklyn Whitlock all of Greenville, NC, and Trinity Liverman of Bethel, NC; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends. “Mani” will surely be missed by her classmates and teachers.
