Dolores “Toots” Christman, age 88 of Porterville, passed away February 12, 2019 in Porterville. Toots was born in Porterville on June 8, 1930 to Edward and Myrtle Kambick and attended Porterville High School. She lived at the Tule River Indian Reservation and worked as a clerk for several years at the Tule River Cooperative Store before retiring and becoming a fulltime homemaker to her growing family.

Toots enjoyed playing Yahtzee with family and friends, but most evenings could be found sitting with her dog “Jack” in front of the TV watching Jeopardy, while doing cross word puzzles. Her surviving family includes her son Randy Christman and wife Leah. 6 Daughters: Dolores “DeeDee” Christman, Peggy Christman, Cecilia Christman & husband Eddie Montoya, Marian Carabay and husband Matt, Kim & wife Rosy Christman, Kelly Coksey and husband Rick, Eric Vega and wife Shawna.

Toots was also loved by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
