Dolores T. (Cronin) Daigle, 88, of Avon, died November 20, 2018. Born and raised in Pittsfield, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Cronin. She was a 1947 graduate of St. Joseph High School and later attended St. Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing.

Dolores was active in the Avon community. She was a Charter member of Avon VFW Post 8892 Ladies Auxiliary and served on many boards, including Council on Aging, School Committee, Finance Committee and as the first female elected on the Avon Planning Board, where she served for over 20 years. Dolores was the wife of the late Wilfred C. Daigle; mother of Shaun Daigle of Avon, Barbara Daigle of Plymouth, Dolores “Lori” Churchery and her husband Alfred of Plymouth, and the late Christine Reynolds and Timothy Daigle; mother-in-law of Elizabeth Daigle of Harvard and the late Robert Reynolds; grandmother of Rian, Cindy, Brandon, Mikala, Bailey and Lily; great-grandmother of Colby, Daunte, Samirah, Timothy, Celia, Steven, Violet and Alana; sister of the late Mary McManus, Anna Gramkowski, Barbara Rudd and John Cronin; and an aunt of many nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to a memorial gathering Sat. , Dec. 15th from 1-4 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton.
