Don Robinson , May 09, 1934 — December 24, 2018

Don Robinson, 84, of Cabot, was born May 9, 1934 to the late Robert Houston Robinson and Minnie May Davis In Yell County, Arkansas. He left this earth on Christmas Eve 2018. He married the love of his life Betty Brown Robinson November 23,1953; she preceded him in death February 24, 2018.

They had 5 children together who survive, Chris Robinson (Tammy), Ashlan Garrison, Charron Belote, Donna McDaniel, and Amanda Vanderhorst (Chris); 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and a brother, John Robinson and sister, Frankie Moody. Don accepted the Lord at a young age; in 1966, Don surrendered his life to the ministry and went on to lead many to the Lord. He never met a stranger and if you spoke with him even for a moment he would always ask if your soul was right with God.

He loved his grandkids and always had candy for every one of them. He had the gift of building things. His last gifts for all the kids were actually personalized signs that he spent countless hours out in the shop working on.

In addition to his parents, and wife, he was preceded in death by nine brothers and seven sisters. Visitation will begin at 1 pm December 27 at Victory Baptist Church in Cabot Arkansas followed by funeral services at 2. He will be laid to rest next to his sweetheart at Mt Carmel Cemetery in Cabot.
