DONALD ‘DON’ A. JONES of Ft. Wayne, passed away on Saturday Dec. 8, 2018 at Parkview Hospice.

He was born on September 26, 1931 to Ernest and Bessie (Hileman) Jones. Don was a former co-owner of a trucking venture, auto and body paint man, and later in life he worked at Ft. Wayne Auto Storage.

He took great delight in his work, riding his motorcycle, having meals at the truck stop, and spending time with family. He especially enjoyed life with his dogs Smokey and Abigail. Don is survived by one brother, William “Bill” Jones of Huntington, a son Michael Barr, Sr. of Ft.

Wayne, five daughters Rhonda Baine of Spindale NC, Donna (Myron) Smithers and Lisa (Scott) Patton both of Wabash, IN, Tammy (James) Drahes of Cleveland OH, and Trina Collins of Ft. Wayne. Also surviving are a son-in-law Donald Lloyd of Ft.

Wayne. 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Lucille, a son Bruce W. Jones, 2 grandchildren, Kristen Rose and Brittney Nicole Barr and his beloved dogs.
