Born April 24, 1963 in Spartanburg, SC, Donald was a son of the late James Ray Harling, Sr. and Carolyn Cooley Philbee. He is survived by his brother, Ray Harling (Karen) of Boiling Springs, SC; his sister, Nancy Bockstiegel (Randy) of Boiling Springs, SC; his lifelong friend, Susie Floyd; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 28th, 2:00PM at Dunbar Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Danny Garrett. The family will receive friends following the service. The family will be at the home of his sister.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Fund, c/o Spartanburg Regional Fund, P O Box 2624, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
