Donald H. Armstrong, 88 years of Hamilton, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018 in his residence. Donald was born March 30, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Wayne and Wilma Armstrong. He married Helen Walsh, and she preceded him in death.

He then married Diana (Forschner) Flewallen on October 24, 2013, and she survives. Donald was employed as a Set-up and Display Representative for several paint chip companies, traveling this country as well as Europe. Donald was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan.

He also enjoyed swimming. Surviving is his wife, Diana Flewallen of Hamilton; four children, Maureen Rosencrantz of Plano, Texas, Donald (Nancy) Armstrong of Chicago, Illinois, Dennis (Sandy) Armstrong of Rockford, Illinois and Dawn (Tom) Vitale of Chicago, Illinois; two stepchildren, Travis Crandall of Ocala, Florida and Shannon Miller of Fort Wayne, Indiana; seven grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren. There will be no visitation or services for Donald.

Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 3985 East Church Street, Hamilton. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
