Raleigh: Mr. Donald Lynn Raynor, age 72, of 1021 Pebblebrook Drive, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Service will be 3:00 PM Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Rev.

Joe Brown. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Mr. Raynor was born on November 24, 1945 in Johnston County to the late Graylon and Melvere Rhodes Raynor.

He was a US Army Military Police serving in Vietnam from 1967-1969. Mr. Raynor worked for Pierson and Whitman Consulting Engineers, later retiring from Earth Tech. He attended Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church.

Surviving include his wife and best friend of 49 years, Glenda Gail Creech; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Denise Raynor of Raleigh; grandson, Bailey Raynor; sister and brother-in-law, Diana Gail and Wayne Walker of Daytona Beach, FL; many nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Geraldine Creech of Benson. The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM Thursday prior to the service. Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be sent to Transitions Lifecare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
