Donald Ray Bach, 78, of New Carlisle, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018 at home surrounded by family. He was born March 26, 1940 in Otway, OH, the son of the late Roscoe and Juanita Bach. Don was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and was a longtime heavy equipment operator, working on many area roads.

He was a member of American Legion post 586, Tipp City. Don is preceded in death by his son Phillip Bach; son-in-law Jeff Wampler; sisters Judy Musser and Kay Bach; and a brother Bill Bach. He is survived by his wife Brenda; sons Karl Bach and Carl (fiancee Christina Ashbaugh) Keaton, Jr.; daughters Patty (Joel) James, Theresa Wampler, Dorothy (Randy) Reveal, Anita (Donnie Temple) Bach and Becky (Scott Denney) Deeter; daughter-in-law Melissa Bach; brother Greg (Phyllis) Bach; sisters Dorothy Gbur and Bessie (Bob) Thompson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service to honor Don will be Friday, December 28, 2018 at 12:00 PM in Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Dayton National Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.
